China Steel Corp. (CSC), the largest carbon steelmaker in Taiwan said that it has to postpone its maintenance schedule for one month long which will be started from April 15th as it rearrange its production lines' schedule and its equipment supplier cannot supply the spare parts on time.
In fact, CSC used to have its hot roll plate maintenance schedule on March 19th, 2013 for 45 days long.
Meanwhile, the maintenance working days will become shorter which will be decreased to 30 days from 45 days.
CSC said this maintenance will not make any shortage on its hot roll coils supply quantities to the market in this April to May.
