Chung Hung Steel, one of the major carbon steel product manufacturers in Taiwan issued its price policy for February recently.
The company decided to hike its prices for hot rolled and cold rolled steel products by NT$650/ton respectively. Also, it increased the list prices for galvanized steel products by NT$750/ton.
After the adjustment, Chung Hung Steel’s list prices for hot rolled steel products are at NT$18,200~NT$19,000/ton; those for cold rolled steel products are at NT$21,700~NT$22,500/ton and those for galvanized steel products are at NT$22,750~NT$23,000/ton respectively.
In fact, market participants previously forecasted that Chung Hung Steel would raise its February list prices by NT$300~NT$500/ton.
